WebIt makes a difference where you are fishing for the perch. In 20 ft - 30ft or even 40 ft of water anchoring is fine, but if you are in deeper water you should maintain a 5:1 or 7:1 anchor rode to be anchored properly. Most anglers are not prepared for this out there.
