WebbOhio Shared Living (OSL), also known as Adult Foster Care, ensures support for personal care and everyday activities for adults with developmental disabilities on the I/O county board wavier by a live in caregiver. OSL is offered state-wide by all county boards. We call caregivers in our program “Mentors.” WebbOhio Shared Living (OSL), also known as Adult Foster Care, encompasses personal care and supportive services provided to an adult with developmental disabilities by a live-in mentor. The goal is that the individual and the Mentor form a relationship, and that the individual becomes a meaningful part of their family and active member of the community.
